SIGLO PRIMITIVO

SIGLO PRIMITIVO is the creative exploration lab of SIGLO MODERNO. Driven by curiosity, artist Jorge Luis Cruzata conceptualized SIGLO PRIMITIVo - an experimental space within the SIGLO MODERNO brand to creatE AND PUSH THE CONVENTIONS OF SPACES, FURNITURE AND OBJECTS. The lab focus is on sculpting A SENTIMENTAL experience via the creation of THE furniture and objects WHICH SURROUND US.

”In Spanish, siglo means century and primitivo means primitive, so for me Siglo Primitivo encompasses a time of past civilizations where experimentation was essential to existence and progress. I want to tap into that spirit of curiosity and exploration with the furniture and objects that we create within the Siglo Primitivo lab.”
